Gold Prices Reach Record High of Rs 428,200 per Tola in Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan hit a historic high on Monday, with the rate of 24-karat gold soaring to Rs 428,200 per tola, marking an increase of Rs 5,500 from the previous day’s Rs 422,700, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold climbed by Rs 4,715, reaching Rs 367,112, while 22-karat gold rose to Rs 336,531 after a gain of Rs 4,322.
The upward trend was also reflected in the global bullion market, where gold prices surged by $55, trading at $4,071 compared to $4,016 a day earlier.
Alongside gold, silver prices experienced a rise as well. The rate of per tola silver increased by Rs 147 to Rs 5,247, while 10 grams of silver rose by Rs 126 to Rs 4,498. On the international market, silver stood at $51.60, up by $1.47.
Experts attribute the surge to global economic uncertainties and fluctuations in the international bullion market, which continue to influence local gold rates.
